馬英九總統今天(30日)與總統當選人蔡英文會晤，民進黨秘書長吳釗燮會後召開記者會表示，「馬蔡會」氣氛相當融洽。至於未來是否還會有類似的朝野領袖會議，吳釗燮說，目前沒有規劃，但若有需要則不排除。
新政府即將上任，為了讓政權交接工作更為順利，並在中華民國憲政史上留下政府順利過渡的正面示範，馬英九總統與準總統蔡英文30日於台北賓館會晤，「馬蔡會」閉門會談了70幾分鐘，隨後各自召開會後記者會。
陪同出席「馬蔡會」的民進黨秘書長吳釗燮在會後記者會上表示，「馬蔡會」氣氛相當融洽、輕鬆自然。吳釗燮說：『(原音)今天對話的過程氣氛相當融洽，在開場白之後，主席和馬總統以非常自然輕鬆的方式進行對話，這個對話的內容涵蓋年金、外交、人力運用、能源以及南海的議題。』
媒體詢問，未來是否還有類似的朝野高層領袖會議？吳釗燮說，目前並無相關規劃。他說：『(原音)目前沒有這樣的規劃，如果未來有需要的話沒有排除，但目前沒有這個的規劃。』
另外，媒體也關切，「馬蔡會」上是否有觸及政權交接議題，吳釗燮說，「馬蔡會」上並無特別談到政權交接上有何困難之處；但蔡英文相當感謝總統府秘書長曾永權對於民進黨提出接卸任元首會晤的建議時，便馬上進行安排。
